January to August Review, Part 1

background

I do look back on each day by writing a diary or daily report, but I haven't done a coherent weekly or monthly look back, and I thought it would be a waste of time to stop doing what was good for me or leave what wasn't good for me, so I'm going to look back. #日記書いたり、日報書いたりして1日毎の振り返りはしているのですが、週間や月間などのまとまった振り返りはしていなくて自分のいい事をやめてしまったり、ダメな事をそのままにするのはもったいないと思ったので振り返りをします。

What is the KPT of the look back method?

  • Keep: 良かったこと（今後も続けること）
  • Problem: 悪かったこと（今後はやめること）
  • Try: 次に挑戦すること（Problemの改善策、Keepでさらに改善すること）
    It is a framework for looking back, an acronym for it. #上記の頭文字をとった振り返りのフレームワークです。

Keep: 良かったこと（今後も続けること）

  • Through organizing the LT meeting, I learned how to make announcements, the timing of the speaker's question time, and other aspects of the proceedings, and the process of listening to the participants' impressions afterwards and thinking about how to make the most of them. # LT会の開催を通して、登壇者の質問タイムのタイミングなど、進行上の注意点や、その後の参加者の感想を聞いて、それをどう生かすかを考えるプロセスを学びました。
  • I joined the fjord boot camp and learned what I needed to do to learn programming. #fjord boot camp に入ってプログラミング学習に必要な事を学べた。

Problem: 悪かったこと（今後はやめること）

  • I join a study group when I'm not making much progress in my studies and I don't understand much and I get indigestion. # 自分の勉強があまり進んでないのに勉強会に参加して、あまり理解できずに消化不良になってしまう。
  • My eyes hurt when I studied in a dark room without a light on. #明かりつけずに暗い部屋で勉強すると目が痛くなった。

Try: 次に挑戦すること（Problemの改善策、Keepでさらに改善すること）

  • Focus on the fjold boot camp assignments. As for the study groups, I'll join them after the curriculum is more advanced. Also, if you're going to do something, think carefully about what you're going to throw away. # fjold boot camp の課題を集中する。勉強会に関してはもっとカリキュラムが進んでから参加する。また、何かをするのなら、何を捨てるのか良く考えるようにする。
